Welcome to the web page of the headquarters of Group V, Texas Wing,
Civil Air Patrol. The Group is
responsible for the Civil Air Patrol squadrons and operations in south
Texas. The area of responsibility is generally defined as the area
from Kerrville and Fredericksburg in the north, west to Del Rio, south
to Brownsville, northeast to Victoria, north to San Marcos, and back to Fredericksburg.
Group V, as an intermediate
command of the Civil Air Patrol, is responsible to the Civil Air Patrol
Corporation and the wing commander for ensuring that corporation
objectives, policies, and operational directives are effectively
executed within the Group. The group commander represents the
Texas Wing Commander within the Group.
